Goodbye Kiel Week 2009! We hope that next year many visitors and photographers from all over the world again visit Kiel and enjoy the Kieler Woche with its numerous photo motifs. This photo shows the Kiel Fjord in the nicest sunlight.For these photos you dont need necessarily a great photo equipment.A digital camera with one lens is sufficient to make beautiful snapshots. Without great expense you get a nice result too.If you want more its better to use a reflex camera with interchangeable lenses. This photo is made with the Nikon Coolpix Camera too.

Sun and shade - many contrasts in a photoshoot.Some years ago it was a lot of work in the darkroom to change contrasts or colours. Today digital photography simplifies these steps which doesnt mean that it is a lot of photographic work too - only with digital tools. Photos can also be changed completely - of course only if that result is desired. For me the old rule is still alive - the better the photo is from the beginning - the better are the photographic results later - even when you work on it and change it with digital possibilities.

This photo is made in the evening sun. Its enough light yet to be photographed without a tripod. If it is more dark or night photoshoots are to be made there must be used a tripod to get sharp photos.The exposure time is too long for the camera to use it without a photo tripod.The Kiel Week offers many beautiful and atmospheric photographic moments - its really an invitation and challenge for all photographers.

A good example for the perfect photo weather! To make photoshoots against the sun can sometimes be beautiful.Morning - and evening sun usually bring the best photo results. This photo i made with an UV - filter too. The weather was clear and ideal for nice photos but a filter can only be useful and has only the effect to show the sky and horizon more clear and visible on your photos.
