A Blimp - starting during the very early sunrise. For a good photoshoot of this situation you need probably a tripod. But i made this photo without a photo tripod - luck or a "calm hand" ..I dont know but for sure is that I love this photo - snapshot into the beautiful morning light - the best circumstances for a wonderful photo situation!

This photo was created before the balloon start inside the balloon.There is always a lot to do.To build up the balloon and - always protecting the camera. The burner is hot and never go there too close with the camera.this is not always easy during all the activities. But whenI see the beautiful photos after all these "action" I forget all "exhausting" work. Beautiful colors in the photos and the effect of photographic impressions from a completely different perspective - For photographers a balloon festival is a must!

What a view! The best is to start with more than one balloon. Then you can do the most nice photo shoots! And when you install a camera at the outside of the basket you are able to make unbelievable photos! This photo i made in the very early morning. I needed a photosensitive film cause it was still a bit dark and the sun just rised. The balloon basket is quiet - it goes with the wind and can make photos by free hand without any problems.

Hot air ballooning - a passion of mine which i can connect with my passion for photography.Here it is especially recommended to have a telephoto lens "on board" - which means in the basket.Most photo motifs are far away here and its a good possibility to make very nice photos from the landscape and maybe other balloons too. Also do not forget the filter here specially because of haze in the distance shows its effect. You need a good bag for your photo - equipment here - for start and landing! Sometimes its a little bit rough and it is recommended to keep the camera safe then.
