Skin and hair - black and white photos

The word "photography" comes from the Greek φώς (phos) "light" + γραφίς (graphis) "stylus", "paintbrush" or γραφή (graphê) "representation by means of lines" or "drawing", together meaning "drawing with light." Traditionally, the products of photography have been called negatives and photographs commonly shortened to photos.

What is photography?
The camera or camera obscura is the image-forming device, and the photographic film or a silicon electronic image sensor is the sensing medium. The respective recording medium can be the film itself, or a digital electronic or magnetic memory.

Pure and simple - a photoshoot in black and white

Again a photo shoot with colors - black and white shows all important things here. Even more than a colored photography. A good example is the portrait photography. I often prefer portrait photos in black and white too. It does not turn away the view and show people like they are. Portraitphotos or other motifs - black and white photography always leads the view to the important points. Color is not always necessary. What are your ideas of black and white photography? If you like let me know with your comments! And look for more information and updates on twitter!

A photo subject with lots of colours...

.... needs to be "catched" with the photographic eye - with color - photography. Here color is needed. To make a photoshoot in black and white here - is a waste of course. Sometimes its only color which fascinates my eyes. No "sensational" themes - only to show the beauty of a photographic moment or of a special form. This is what i want to keep with my photos and what makes the camera a useful and necessary tool for me.
